Jazz Guitar and Bass
Throughout his career, Martyn has played many styles of music, from classical
through jazz to classic rock, and teaches these differing styles. his students learn to
read music and to analyze a piece to understand its harmonic structure. he teaches
improvisation, adapting the methods he was taught for jazz for rock, blues, country,
etc.
Students attend half hour lessons once per week. Martyn teaches students of all
abilities, from beginners to advanced players. Although his teaching schedule is usually
full, Martyn maintains a waiting list for potential students. For more information or to

Combining his extensive performing experience with the best methods from each of his
